Day 1

The wine tour to Sardinia well depart from Nyköping, Sweden. The airplane will take us to Alghero on Sardinia. We will arrive in before lunch and the swedish lady Carina Soro who have lived at Sardinia for 17 years will be waiting for us. Our hotel Pedraladda i Castelsardo is situated incredibly beautiful in the north. We will eat a joint dinner and have a wine tasting and get more information about the coming week. At this hotel we will be staying for three nights.

Day 2

After breakfast we will take our bus to the small wineyard Unmaredivino right outside Berchidda. Gioacchino Sini is an exciting and innovative producer. After a joint lunch in the village we leave for Museo del Vini were we will be guided around and a view at the cork production.

Day 3

We will start with wine tasting at Tenute Olbios who's well educated female owner Daniella Pinna will be our host. Her most famous wine is Lupus in Fabula. This uses to be a much appreciated visit. At lunch time we leave for Monti and visits the very hospitable Masone Mannu. We eat a joint lunch and taste some more wines.

Day 4

Time for check out from the first hotel and tour cotinues at Oristano. Here we lives at a 4-star very central hotel. But first we will travel to CantinaSanta Maria la Palma outside Alghero. A large cooperative with many wine producers. After lunch we will visit the small family owned Azienda Vinicola Giovanni Cherchi.The father Giovvani is very proud of his life astonishing life work. We get to taste wine made of the Cagnulari grape. We will a joint dinner in Oristano after our check-in.

Day 5

After a night of good sleep we will wake up rested and ready to go to Mamoiada which is situated in a mountain area. We will visit Cantina Giuseppe Sedilesu who make splendid wines made of Cannonau and the exciting Granazza grape. We eat a joint lunch that in this nice area. Those who like can visit an interesting musem where you can find the famous masks of the area. We will also get a guided tour around Losanuragen in Abbasanta.

Day 6

We travel south and the first stop is Cantina Santadi. At this well-known cooperative you will find wines from plants who have grown sincve the nineteenth century. Many good wines, for example Latinia that is made on 100% Nasco and Rocca Rubia 100% Carignano. After a joint lunch we travel to another famous producer Cantina Attilio Contini, the oldes wine house on Sardinia. Robert Parker describes Vernaccia wine Antico Gregori: "This is not a wine! It's a dream" We get to taste this and much more.

Day 7

A big part of this day we will spend at Cagliari, a beautiful harbour in the capital of the region. Look at the flower of Jakaranda tree and enjoy, here you will eat lucnh by yourselves. But before this we visit the small village Serdiana with it's large producers Azienda Agricola Pala and Argiolas. Both very famous and they produce astonishing wine on local grapes. We finnish this day with a joint dinner at our hotel.

Day 8

After checkout from our hotel we leave early to the airport in Alghero for our flight home. We arrive to nyköping in early afternoon and hopefully we have som great memories. Soon after are arrival will the wines that you have bought arrive. This use to be a fine a memorie from our week at Sardinia.
